工作职责：

II、Associate Scientist助理科学家  工作地点：北京、赤峰
SUMMARY: The Associate Scientist is responsible for leading fermentation scale up in China, make sure CRVAB production and quality to meet Kemin business requirement, and participate in internal research collaborations as request.


MINIMUM EDUCATION (including licenses, certifications, designations, etc.):
1.Master or PhD degree in fermentation, microbiology or biochemistry.  Hands-on experience in submerged fermentation is recommended. 
2.Excellent English communication skills (have passed Level 6 English test or equivalent)
3.Experience in quality or regulatory affairs is preferred
4.Willing to travel to Chifeng and occasionally to Zhuhai
5.Demonstrated capability to conduct rigorous research (peer review publication(s))

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  
1.Follow up with all the scale up of Kemin products
2.Follow up with the Kemin enzyme production and make detailed records 
3.Write WPs about scale up, production process flow chart
4.Transfer of test methods and solve the discrepancy between Kemin methods and CRVAB’s
5.Collect regulatory materials (COA, MSDS, etc) for Kemin products
6.Coordinate the QC tests between CRVAB and different Kemin BUs
7.Actively identify and lead research areas that could lead to new product development or process improvement, with guidance. 
8.Independently develop SOPs, research protocols, and research methods. 
9.Prepare and present research reports in multiple formats for both internal and external audiences. 
10.Participate in the strategic planning process and internal research or production meetings.
